Just a bit of hibernation, still here.
Hello everyone,
Well it has been an awfully long time since our last post, but just wanted to check in with you all to let you know a few things:
- We are still here.
- We are doing some gigs in 2016 – not quite as many as we have been doing in previous years, but this is deliberate.
- We are taking this year to write some songs and we promise they will be more beautiful than ever.
The thing we have realised, is that the kind of songs we really love to play don’t manifest themselves in the midst of ridiculous busy-ness. So we’re taking 2016 as an ‘inhale year’ – which means lots of reading, listening, watching music, observing and generally not doing the Premier-Inn-motorway-routine we have done over the past few years.
It’s cool. There’s new music a-coming and we promise it will be worth the wait. But we’re trying not to RUSH so much. Stay with us on this one and please remember we exist, book us for shows and listen to our existing songs and keep faith that we will have new sounds, hopefully to share with you by the end of the year. But also remember that patience is the key and that having time to refresh is really important to us.
Hope this all makes sense. It really does to us.
